NOKYA bulbs

Any experience with these bulbs. I bought the Artic Purple ones but I read on them that the wattage is 80W lowbeam and 100W highbeam. Would this be too high and perhaps burn out the harness or ...????? Thanks.

Better watch out with these bulbs. Many owners have bad experiences using higher wattage bulbs. The socket and wiring can burn out. If you must use them then buy a nice heavy duty wire harness for the bulbs. Make sure you buy one with relays and heavier wiring.

i have only used nokya bulbs in everything ever i have many many many differnt styles of them usually the stage II bulbs are dangorous to a degree, but i have used 100watt headlights for 2 years now with no burnage it all depends i have heard storys but according to all my vehicals i have them in aka stage II's in corolla, camry, accord, cavalier, prizm, and maxima they all have never burned the harness and i take long road trips at night and everything maybe i have just been real lucky or maybe they are safe but the boxes do come with a warning on them to use heavy duty harness or it might melt so i say go for it and just check every once in a while if there getting to hot. BTW the purple ones arent that good there really yellowy with a tiny tiny tint of purple in the outline of the beam pattern here i have pics of stage II blue ones i love em...

I agree with Stealth Max, the headlight socket or wiring or both CAN burn out. Why risk it? Those things can happen at the wrong time too.
I am using a pair of 9007!!! (not 9004) Nokya Arctic White Stage II 100/120watts. Read this thread for more details.

Not sure why there's a purplish hue in the picture but if you are to look at them dead-on in person, its nothing but white.

I have those same bulbs ( artic purple) and I bought the wiring harness ( heavy duty ) on ebay as an extra precaution...they look amazing and no problems at all after 2 months.....I would get them with the harness

Nokya bulbs are bright and will burn the living monkeys out of your wiring harness. southwestauto works sells a pair of upgraded nokya wiring harness for 15 bucks.

But even with that you'll end up burning the bulbs. With all of those bulbs you have on that shelf you could have gotten some HIDS
