Rear jacking point

from where is it recommended that you lift the rear of the car?

This has been answered before... once again, the "single" jacking point (to lift the entire rear end) is the multi-beam (I would recommend using a 2x4 or something like it between the jack and the beam itself). Then put the jackstands along the two sides of the unibody (as marked in the owner's manual for the scissor jack).

Be safe when working with a raised car, and ALWAYS use jack stands.

don't put the jack in the middle of the unibody either... bad idea..heh
