Worth buying a heat shield for a Injen intake?



Its supposed to block some of the heat and add some horsepower? Any1 have this? Havent heard any discussions on this yet. What do you guys think of this? Since its the summer and your injen will pull in alot of heat.

Probably worthless, the Place Racing unit sits where there is minimal heat. Might have gone that route instead, if you dont mind a hole in your fender well.

I have it but its just for looks and yea i know it sounds stupid. I guess the only thing that it may do is limit the amount of water if any that flies towards it while driving in the rain.

haha...any heat shield that blocks off the 170+degree air that the radiator is giving your Injen sounds good.
