how do you reprogram the remote keyless entry for the maxima????

 

I need the same kind of help. have key fob from 2001 sentra, and would like to program. can anyone help?

 

I don't think the sentra one is going to work. Reprogramming is covered in the faqs, but I think it might be wrong (I don't really know though since I don't have keyless ), unless that was the airbag reset procedure. Try the one in the faqs and see if that works.

 

On maxima: Get in car

Lock doors with switch

Quickly insert key 6 or 7 times, or until emergency flashers flash

Immediately turn key to the ON position

Immediately push the "Lock" button on remote

Flashers should flash again, remote is set

 

turn key to ACC not on from what I read, it's in the FAQ
