I have it and love it.

Pedals really smooth, grabs quickly, IMHO its easier to drive than my dads stock clutch on his 5th gen. Basically its very smooth, nice and easy when you want it to be, and its a beast when you beat on it.

I got mine from PJ at Maxx Tuning but apparently he's gone out of business?

ceasar....I am looking into a new clutch now too....just haven't done the research that I know you are known to do b4 you buy stuff...anyway...when it comes to aftermarket clutches, the god on the org here seems to be the ACT stage 1...but I have heard some stuff break from that clutch....what makes you want to go with the exedy stage 1....what have you heard? what power can it handle up to? will this mean you are going to spray or boost in the future? or is it too premature to tell us....cause we are all in a lot of trouble if that is the case....(1/4 mile wise)...also...what was the best price you found??? i found $265 shipped....in the GD thread somewhere...on here...

the member that said the exedy can't handle the power of his S/C 'er but the ACT did....worries me as I have plans to go FI or spray in the future...but I don't want the chattery that the ACT is famous for....don't they have the same gripping force? and share the same disc?

my ACT that i have now is/was chattery in 1st and reverse but its hard to say because i only broke it in for 300 miles (and i wasnt careful) and i heard that old motor mounts will cause chattering. which im sure is the case with my car. i have had mine for about 3yrs still grabs good but i was curious about the exedy.

i thought the exedy has the same clamping force as the act stage 1...we are talking the expensive stage 1 exedy, NOT the cheap ebay one right? could the exedy stage 1 handle 11 psi from a supercharger or instead a 75 shot of nitrous?

The Exedy stage 1 will be fine with the usual bolt ons.
The ACT clutch does have a bit more clamping force then the Exedy unit and is often blammed for killing trannies.
Unless your pushing major whp I think the Stage one by Exedy would be fine for both NA and SC applications.

Ceaser, that price from overboost and no limit look good.
Thats probably the cheapest your going to find unless a groupdeal pops again.
If I remeber right, I paid 235. shipped in a group deal.
Dont worry about the flywheel, its nice and Im surprised your not getting one being that you like to gain as much as possible but I dont think its a SUPER power adder.
It does allow the rpms to climb quicker which is what I enjoy.
Hope you get your MAX up and running soon.
Dont forget,... give it at least 500 miles of babying before you get on it.
