Bad rear wheel bearing? NO : Dealer says bad rear tires and brake cable stuck??
i have been getting this noise coming from the rear for as long as i've had my max.. a little over three years and the same tires have been on the back. They are kelly tires and i thought the tread on them was ok. well i went to a friend at the nissan dealership and after riding with me he said that it didnt sound like a bad bearing. i also told him about a noise when making right turn, sounds like a groaning noise. He heard both noises and when we got back to the dealership he showed me the uneven wear on my rear tires. He showed me how the tread was wearing down so that the looked almost like mud-tires. Some parts of the tread were dusty as you could see where the rubber hit the ground. The other parts where black as if they were not hitting the ground. He told me 1st thing i should do is replace the tires cause they are cheap. Then he told me the groaning noise i hear while turning right is probably the brake cable getting stuck. I am wondering if anyone has any input or suggestions on this. thanks
