question about tires you are running.

do you sub-15 second guys run slicks at track? or are you able to pull that with street tires?

btw, i know wrong forum but the other guys never answer me. i always end up having to come over here and ask the same question, so this time i jumped right to it instead of wasting time.

No need to use slicks to get sub 15 second 1/4 times. Radial tires will work just fine.

i hate it when people tell me that whatever subject i am asking about has been gone over a million times, or that they just discussed it last week or month or whatever.
i wasn't involved in the last discussion, or i wouldn't ask. but thank you for the response.

actually you did ask almost this exact same question in another thread a few months ago. i dont forget names (or screennames). i remember most of the questions you've asked about slicks because not that many guys ask about them, and im one of the only people who responds to such questions with first hand experience.

oh geez, don't get your panites all up in a bind. YOu asked these same questions about slicks and street tires. You were fortunate enought to get quality respones from some of the more expierenced org members....

What? You don't believe the information you were given? You were hoping to get a different anwser this time?

I clearly remeber you previous threads. You asked a question about slicks in the 1/4 mile forum. Several guys gave you great info on what you should do and why. A couple days later you post the same question in a different forum as if you had no idea what the anwser was.

Now a few months later your asking the stuff again? So don't get offended when your called on it.

it's not that i didnt believe the info. i assume new people have joined since the original post. i was wondering if anyone else had an opinion. you know, you guys who have already answered don't have to answer again. but i dont feel like getting in an argument match with anyone. it seems like thats what happens whenever i ask questions. oh well.

so i'll let you guys know if i have any more questions!

It was divided between those who knew what they were talking about and others who didn't.

Then don't. What's there to discuss? You think that running 15s in a maxima counts as all motor and you're wrong. You're not really proving to be that smart by posting the same question 20 times over.

dude you're lame. what question did i post 20 times over? you dont even know what the hell you are talking about. why try and start an argument all over again?

why don't you just go and fill your cooling system with 100% water and leave me alone. dork.

Now this is funny. After almost a year of being an Org member, this is the first cat fight I've ever seen. Pure hilarity! Some people get offended way too easily . . . .

Tell me about it. Jeff, thee was a thread about this a week ago or two. People were running 15s and high 14s and they were saying they were all motor and stuff like that. Then mike or neal came in and expalined. If you go to a track, run 15s and say you're all motor people will laugh at you. You have no upgraded internals and aren't running 12s or any time that is retardely fast for a model of your car you have no right of saying you're all motor. Your just n/a.
