tinting ALL lights in front QUESTIONS

IF anyone has ever done the AE headlight mod on the corner lights, bumper lights, or fog lights id like to hear if its just the same as the normal AE on the headlights. Cuz what i want to do is tint all the lights by painting the housing black. I know how to do the normal AE headlight, but im not sure about the others, are they just the same meaing oven bake, pry apart, and paint? Id appreciate any feedback.

The others you have to tint from the outside. You can AE the headlights and the clearance lights cause they have areas in them that don't serve much purpose as far as lighting goes. I had all my lights tinted except the headlights, fog lights, and the spoiler light(only cause of the accident). I would never tint the headlights or the fogs as those need as much light output as possible. The others can be tinted cause you only need them to be visible enough so that others see them.

Ive heard of people tinting them from the inside as in painting the housing... So if anyone has done this, please tell me what you did briefly.

It would be the same procedure. Again ,why would you do this? I looked at the fogs and there isn't any room in there to paint without taking away any reflecting area. Painting the lights next to the headlights is just as easy, just paint the whole thing. Corners same thing. Come one, use your head.

The AE headlight mod is more work than just tinting all the lights, looks way better IMHO and doesn't reduce light output at all since you're not painting any of the reflective surface that serves a purpose.

Like I said, look at the lights you want to AE. The heads are easy to do cause there is "chrome" surface that is parallel to the lens and does not affect visibiltiy. Same with the corner lights. The others however don't have those areas.

WRONG, BLUEC has this done. Send him a private message , he'll let you know how we did it.

Damn it. I looked at the 96 fogs and in order to do this I had to paint some of the angled reflector area. Oh well, wrong again.

ok the the headlights and corner lights are possible. SO what you guys are saying is that i cant paint the inside of the fogs or bumper lights because i would be painted the chrome that is needed to refelct the light from the bulb?

That's what stopped me from doing it. The 97-99 lights might be different though.
