pulled out interior carpet and weighed it

ROFL ! Well, im certainly hurting for anything worthwhile to post. Ever since the max has been down there isnt much to talk about that isnt about how high the grass is around my yard ornament.

I did take out the interior a few days back figure i would weigh and wash. My interior carpet weighed a whopping 17 lbs. Not to hard to take out, I did have to cut the carpet in 3 small places under the console, and ecu.

I crammed the carpet in the wash machine and washed it 2 good times, ha ! and then used a steam cleaner type thing on it. The turnout was not what I was expecting. It was much cleaner but not saying too much after years of wear. Better than before though.

Doing this did spark an idea of taking it out along with the passenger seat for a few passes at the dragway. Shedding the clubman passenger seat and carpet would take off another 42 pounds.

Well thats about it for on hail of an attempt to make a thread. lol !
