Well I have 2 codes prior to changing out the part. They were the

0304 Knock Sensor
1008 Evap Canister Purge Volume Control Valve (located in the front engine bay)

I bought a used valve and installed it in but the code is coming back with the knock sensor code. I was thinking that the knock sensor code could be triggered by the Evap Valve code. But is it possible that the knock sensor is bad and it maybe triggering the Evap Valve code? I am also now getting the 0102 with the other codes, which is the MAF. What could be causing that code? I did change out my hybrid setup back to stock. Maybe I didn't plug it in all the way. Any idea guys why i'm still getting the codes? Thanks

Most times thing will trip the knock sensors..

I am thinking it is triggering the knock sensor still since the new Evap i put in didn't fix the problem. The car runs fine, only slight hesitation sometimes at 3rd gear and above but most of the time I think it runs ok. What other things should I test to see what the problem is to solve the 1008 code?

Didn't you say you bought a used EVAP valve? How do you know it was a working one?

 

Yes I bought a used Evap Valve. It was from a member on the org and he promised it was in good working order. I checked the voltage on the valve as well and seem to have good readings.
