Hydrolocking

Hydrolocking
Before purchasing my Injen intake, I was just wondering how worried I need to be about hydrolocking. I live in NC, so we usually get rain in moderation. They don't make a bypass valve for the Injen intake, is there anything that I can do do prevent hydrolocking, or is it something to not really worry about?
In addition, if someone was to get water sucked into their engine, what would happen? Will they have to get a new engine or what?

Avoiding hydrolocking is easy: don't take your car for a swim.
In order to suck water up your Injen, you would have to drive through a puddle that partly submerged your engine...not a good idea in any situation.
