custom work man. that is what you will have to do. i did custom work on my car to install 2k2 rotors and calipers which are way bigger then 4th gen rotors and 2k-2k1 rotors.

2004 Maxima front rotors/calipers will fit perfectly with most 17 inch wheels on the 95-99 cars.
You just have drill the caliper mounting through holes on the hub from 12mm to 14mm. There appears to be plenty of metal there.

You pick up some extra weight, you probably can't measure it by the seat of your pants. But the braking increase is very noticeable.

On the 00-01 not even this is necessary. Mounting holes are the same size. Just plug and play.

If you stay with the stock size rotor, different calipers are of little value.

Change to the bigger rotor and the pad area is increased, for less heat build up.

Then my stock brake lines will hook up too? Or will they need to be longer? Different end fittings?

Anyone know of similar conversions for the rear???

The stock lines work perfectly. The 04 rotors are about 1 inch or so larger than the 00,01 rotors.
