LED Taillight?

Guys,

Has anyone did this mod too succuss. I was wondering if anyone has done it' to work like the G35's, brake and marker light to work off one LED, brighter with Brakes and dimmer with parking lights. Or if anyone has a diffrent idea on who to make this work. Please email me perovpp@hotmail.com. I know Kelvo has done this mod, but i don't think his brake light's work, just parking light. i want' my brakes too work so i can pass inspection. Please if anyone has any idea's to let me know asap.

Thanks

Make 5 rows of LEDs:
Row 1 = Bright (Brake)
Row 2 = Dim (headlights on)
Row 3 = Bright (Brake)
Row 4 = Dim (headlights on)
Row 5 = Bright (Brake)

During the day, row 1, 3, & 5 light up when you hit the brakes. At night, when the headlights are on, row 2 & 4 light up then when you press the brakes, all the rows will be lit. I'm planning on doing this and using 3k mcd LEDs for the dim rows and like 7k mcd LEDs for the bright rows.

Going to see if I can control the brightness of the LED first. No one has done it yet like a regular bulb (dim/bright on all of the LEDs).

Jatan,

That's exactly was i was thinking about doing, i was just wondering if there was another way. hey, one more question, i tried the oven way of take the lens of a friends 2001 max light's and the lens just didn't want to come out. it was a extra lights so we ended up braking it open. Let me know how can do it too mine on a 97 gxe without braking it.

Thansk

As of now, there is no way to open the 00+ Tails w/o cutting them open.

Bought blue LEDs from this seller and they came fine. Tons of people on the org buy them from this guy and he has resistors too: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...TRK:MEWA:MESOI Get the 5mm ones since the 3mm will be too small

I'm just going to buy all white LEDs so it'll be cheaper in a bulk order. I just have to watch out for the stupid reflector that's in the way.

some one should do a basic write up of what resistors to use and what LEDs would best work. also include how to attach them together and wire to the car. anybody??
