"Euro diamond cut clear corners" anyone?

I'm not talking about the diamond cut bumper lenses, I don't ever recall seeing any pictures of anyones max with these lenses (which is kind of odd.. since they actually look nice, not sure about fitment though.) I've never seen them before and just happened to run accross them

http://www.procarparts.com/store-det...=onlinestoreDB

just wondering if anyone has a picture is all; might look nice with the same style clear lense style as the headlights as opposed to the semi-frosted style the stock ones are.

hmmmm i dont see why it wouldnt work for 95-96, in fact id rather put them on my 95 since 95 corners seem to be a bit more cloudy than a 97+ corner

the corners look good tho, does n e one have em

bump... lots of views, no one has ever seen them? if you look real close it even looks like they have the 2 or 3 horizontal lines that are on the headlights... think they match up?

$47.99...that's a rip off!!!!

If I'm not mistaken Depo or TYC makes those and they were like $35 about a year ago.

bulb placement

if i recall, the bulbs in stock corners do come up that way. The real purpose of the light was to light up the ground next to us i guess, not like it helps, but if anyone has seen those with the bulb facing out, then maybe we can use them and have light shining on the ground in front of us.

You recall wrong. The stock ones have the bulb come straight out the back not from the bottom. It looks like the bulb connector would be very close to the bumper.

they look nice, but i have heard some bad things about procarparts not always selling quality products so for that reason i am a bit hesitent to buy them although i think they would look really nice on our cars.

The bulb is in the back and the connector is attached to a small post right next to it.

I emailed procarparts and got the following reply:

Unfortunately these will not fit the 96 models. There is a slight difference in size between the 96 and the 97 models. They will only fit the 97-99 maximas. We currently do not have any corner lights for the 95-96 models.

I guess 95/96 are sol'd again.

nice lights....looks like many will get them....and im sure they will report the fittment, quality, and service back to us. These would go great with the APC compleatly clear bumper lenses that (iirc) Nick had. He said they leaked but silicone could fix that.

what makes these different size, anybody know???. is it the housing, or what. i was planning to get the 97 headlights to do the AE mod, if i have the 97 lights will these corners fit then?

I don't see what the difference is. I was looking on Ebay for a set of 97-99 Headlights to install in my 95. One of mine has a rock chip and I like the clear look better. I'm doing the 9007 and harness upgrade too.

As I searched Ebay and found a set of headlights for a good price, I also noticed this guy sells 97-99 corner lamps. He states they fit 97-99 and 95-96 as well. Perhaps it's the 'look' and not the 'size' that's different. I'm buying a set and will make them work on my car along with the headlights from Ebay. I think it would look sweet. Here's the link for reference only for the corners. The diamond corners with the 95-96 Headlights would look awful.

I just ordered everything. 97-99 Headlights, Diamond Corners from Procarparts, Xtravision 9007 Headlight Bulbs, and the NTBK 9007 High Power harness.

I'll post pics when I get everything installed.

Not sure why they wouldn't fit either but Procarparts didn't specify exactly why they wouldn't fit. But if they say it wouldn't fit, it probably wouldn't w/o any type filing or cutting on the fender part. Anything is possible I guess. Anyone care to try this out?

Already ordered. I'm pretty good at this 'car' stuff so I'll post pics and info when they show up. I'd like to go with the 97-99 Grille without swapping my bumper cover too so I might order one up and make it work.

I've only had the Max now for 3 days and I'm already modding. And this is just my beater/driver (supposed to be)!

Yep.......my handle is the same there too. I got rid of mine as well. Mine is also a pebble beige. This is kinda funny...two ex Tundra owners end up with the same year and color of Maxima.

I might be looking for an Ivan Stewart one later or early next year.

Believe it or not, I saw your handle and was like, that seems familar (not in this post). It's a small world. I miss my stereo system already in the Tundra but I can still borrow it whenever I want. It was a great truck and still is - but I owned it for 3 years and was getting bored with it. I replaced it with a 2003 Mercury Marauder. I bought the Maxima to act as my daily driver. I love the Maxima!!!! Everyone who has looked at it has given me compliments and it's an almost stock 95.

5 Speed, SE, Leather, Auto Climate, Moonroof, ABS, heck even heated seats. I believe it had every option except the automatic. I did add clear bumper lights and put 2004 Altima 3.5 6 spoke 17's on it with new tires which made it look a LOT better.

I'm almost embarassed to post since my profile says I need to read the FAQ. I only asked 1 question and it wasn't in the FAQ!!!!

Mine is also 5 speed with everything you got except the ABS, 17" wheels, and heated seats (figured I wouldn't need it).

No worries.......welcome to the org!

Then apparently those guys are idiots since I'v had SLIMER's 98 headlights and corner lights on my 96 for a LOOOOOOONG time.
