My cars throwin 0104, what is my outlook?

Just pulled the code today, came back as Vehicle Speed Sensor. My car seems to be running ok. Should I replace this thing, and where is it? Read about it in the stickies, but i could only understand half of what DBM was sayin!

VSS is on the transaxle case. There should be some kind of indication in speedometer reading or cruse control if the VSS itself is really malfunctioning.

I've been dealing with this problem for about two years but no problem with speedometer or cruise control, they just work fine. I replaced VSS two years ago but I still have code 0104.

I recently read some post here (I don't have a link to the thread, sorry) in which someone fixed this problem by replacing speedometer (whole instrument gauge cluster, perhaps) at Nissan dealer. He says that while VSS itself works fine speedometer is connected electronically between VSS and ECU, therefore, ECU interpreted the unusual signal as VSS malfunctioning.

I really want to fix this but I am not sure if I want to go to a dealer to replace speedometer and make adjustments on mileage at this point....
