On the topic of short shifters...

A buddy of mine that actually just sold his maxima told me about how he cut his shifter to make it a short shifter... Did I get the messege wrong? or can you really just take the **** off and cut the shifter a little...?

that's the poor mans "short shifter." obviously in no way does this reduce the throw length of the actual lever, but it does decrease slightly how far your arm has to travel. if you want a *real* short shifter get a B&M ripper http://store.summitracing.com/partde...4392621CF2E%7D

put mine in almost two weeks ago, 40% throw reduction and 1-2" shorter, makes for much less arm travel and gives it a nice look.

if you REALLY wanted a short short throw shifter, get the b&m AND cut it down.

Tomservo I got to really admit that b&m/momo combo looks really good but Stillen STS STILL RULES ALL.
