i am looking to get some new driving lights aka fog lights but was wondering if i should use 55w or 85 watt i am not sure if the 85w will melt the stock wiring any input with this and a good brand of bulbs to use would be great thanks

i've heard bad things about using higher wattage then 55w... that glass light gets blazing hot as it is. I got some PIAA Xtreme White Plus 55w H3's and am very pleased

I baught a pair of Matrix H3's and with in 1 weak they both exploded, the driver's side assembly is cracked horribly. Now i gotta get a new one. (those were 85w bulbs btw) So from both exploding im very impartial to anything more then stock unless you upgrade your wireing harnase.

how did you put h4's in where h3's go? they cannot fit? 85 watts cannot really melt th harness cause there really is not a harness. it is justa male and female connector. but the glass cracking has been heard to heppen quiet often with 85 watt bulbs. i would just go with some 55watt yellow or gold bulbs.
