My gas mileage with Y-Pipe

I FINALLY put my y-pipe on a few weeks back and I zeroed out my counter at my first refuel. I got 360 miles on the tank, and the refuel clicked off at 17.8 gallons, (I only refuel up to the click since it seems like you can't force anymore fuel in once the pump clicks off), and that gave me a little over 20.2 MPG...all city driving. Mind you, the last week and a half the new clutch and Fidanza broke in and I have been rev happy at times

Now if the SP2 can come out right now!

I'm in that 18-21 mpg range with cai,y-pipe and dynomax muffler. I hope you don't make a habit of running your tank so low, because the fuel cools the pump and if it's too low too often, it's shortens the life of the pump! try to stay above a 1/4 tank. calculate mileage from gals. used divided into miles at refill on trip set, if you reset it at last fill up

abradic, what was your mileage usually before the y-pipe? Better or worse?

there have been split decisions regarding increase and decrease in gas mileage with the install of a y pipe...

Shoot, gotta retype. Good advise nitromax, I usually went until the light came on. I was getting 310-320...mid 320's pushing it before hand. So, I guess I picked up an extra 30-40 miles of range, so in about 80 refuel stops this baby will pay for itself!

I have a Stillen intake and y-pipe.

I'm getting 320-350 to the full tank with a bad KS, budget y-pipe, and intake.

Just got my y-pipe recently installed a few weeks ago and have not let my tank drop below 3 quarters full so not sure exactly what my mileage is.

Before I was getting about 130 miles for the first quarter tank on the highway.
Now I get like 90 miles per quarter tank because I have over drive off and am hitting the gas hard after every stop to feel the power.

Eventually I will go back to normal driving.
