need some help chosing exhaust

im looking for a good, high quality, cheap price exhaust. id love to get the greddy but i cant afford it. i was wondering if anyone has a system that has a good low deep tone, not deafening but you know its not stock. i want to free it up, but not looking for maximum HP figures. i would like to see some gains though. i was wondering if anyone has got the APEX or any other catback system that sounds good. or does anyone have any good custom set ups. something like a magnaflow muffler w/2.5" piping, but i dont want it to sound like a truck or v6 mustang. i want a sport sounding deep toned exhaust. i had a 92 max and i put 2.5" piping on it to a arospeed muffler str8 through and it sounded like a truck, so i dont want that. any help would be greatly apprciated, im try to do this right the first time, but not break the bank on it either though.

If funds are an issue a custom set up is your best bet unless you can find a good group deal. All cat backs including custom exhaust will yield roughly the same gains (not much). Which ever route you go make sure the system has a resonator. Oh yeah, if you don't like noise stay away from Megan exhaust.

Dude, I thought I posted how to get a cheap catback on one of your threads already?
Didn't I?
Just go custom....it is easier and cheaper.
