Recently I did a 5spd conversion using a 96 I30t as a donor car and used everything out of it, including the ECU. I have been driving the car with no problems for two months and I have had only one problem. The problem is I get the check engine light for rear o2 fault/no signal. I have checked the o2 sensor and I know it is functioning correctly and outputing signal to the ECU.

As far as I know the 96 I30 had a 3 wire o2 sensor while my 98 has a 4 wire. I am led to believe that the pin for the rear o2 is different for the 96 I30 then it is the 98 max. For my 98 max, pin 56 is supposedly for the rear o2.

Just wondering if anyone had a pin-out of a 96 I30 ECU and could tell me where the rear o2 is supposed to be. Also if there is any differences between the 96 max ECU over the 96 I30 ECU.
If this problem can be solved, it would be awesome to have a 98 converted to 96 5speed with no CELs and cruise and everything working like it was from the factory.

Thanks for the help but i dont really need a diagram with numbered pins for the maxima. I was really looking for a 96 i30 specific diagram maybe even a wiring diagram. Does anyone have a factory wiring diagrams for 96 i30s? I have one for the maximas but im just looking for the differences.
