are PIAA Twin Pack Super Plasma H3 55w = 110w Bulbs safe to use on fog lights or is the wattage above stock and is their two much heat. i want to know before i buy please help

they make the claim that their 55w bulbs (which is stock, they DON'T draw any more power then stock) give off the light of a comparable generic bulb at 110w. which, is usually the case with PIAA (other cheap brands also say this but burn out in a week.) I use PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9004's and H3's (55w) myself

You'll do good buying these. Like tomservo I have extremes (Got mine through my stereo guy for cheap) all the way around. Just make sure you get the right wattage or you'll fry your wiring (already did it twice on my car).

do you guys recommend using high quality 9004's (such as PIAA?) or just converting to a 9007? How much is the difference in brightness, and how much more work is the 9007? Thanks

I directly bought piaa 9004 xtreme white pluses, never tried the 9007 mod or anything. Messing with stock wiring isn't my thing, and I'm quite content with the light output/color of these bulbs
