Replaced KS, but still have 0304 code
I replaced the KS(old one's resistance was off the chart), and reset the ECU, but I am still getting a 0304 code. I checked the resistance afterward through the sub-harness, and it was fine. Any other suggestions as to what to try?
I noticed that the sub-harness has two wires, but one of them seems to disappear under the wire cover, and there is only one wire that connects to the KS. Is this normal? It looks like it was made this way, as the sub-harness connector on the KS end has a place for 2 wires, but one looks like it is filled with a plastic plug.
Thanks for any ideas.

If I check for resistance and get the proper value, doesn't that mean that I have continuity?

Your multimeter should have a continuity mode - it should beep when both leads are shorted essentially. It might be the same mode as the resistance check -i.e. zero resistance and a beep would mean that the harness is not broken/disconnected somewhere. You want to check the harness only, i.e. the knock sensor should be disconnected from the harness.
