New brakes, go a ?
my friend hooked me up on brake pads and me and him put them on at his shop. we then bled the brakes a lil and when we went out to test and set the pads, my pedal feels a little spongy and soft, not as responsive as before. Is this normal, cause he said i have to wait a few days for them to feel right again or is something wrong with the brakes?

in my thread about brakes someone said that if any air gets into the brake lines that it can make it feel "spongy" from being bled improperly. Maybe you need to bleed them correctly and replenish the fluid, but find out from someone that actually knows... that's just specculation

i had brakes installed few days ago. got raybestos qs w/ brembo blanks. when i hard brake, i get this knocking sound from the rear brakes (i think it's rear). machanic said that the pads are not sized right and due to that they are not secure in place, which causes the noise. does this sound right or maybe someone had the same problem?

The FSM says to bleed in the following order:
Right rear -> Left front -> Left rear -> Right front
You probably let the fluid level in the master cylinder get too low and that probably caused some air to get in again.
Right rear -> Left front -> Left rear -> Right front
