2002 motor in a 97?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if a 2002-2002 max motor will fit into a 97 max or will extensive fabrication be required? If someone could answer this I would appreciate it. thanx

it hasn't been done before, but a .org member is currently working on it. He's done tons of work so far, and still hasn't finished. Look around and you'll find the thread. It's got quite a few pages...
