Was prying around the engine today and noticed quite a bit of slack in the throttle cable. If I take out the slack will that increase throttle responce, just an idea

 

I suggested this a long time ago. Just be careful not to adjust it too tight so at WOT it's putting too much pressure on the throttle plate. Also make sure there is a slight amount of "slack" at idle. You will feel the difference, trust me. Just use your common sense.
