That setup sounds exactly like my ancient HKS muffler teamed with a y-pipe and Courtesy B-pipe. I had to get rid of it because I wanted a mostly stock sounds exhaust and the oh-so slight resonance at 2400-2700rpms was getting annoying.

Dont say that around some of these avid Cattman people. They insist that NOTHING can sound like this...IMHO, pieced together cat backs can provide the same sound anyones going for, for a fraction of the rediculous price they (cattman, stillen, etc) charge...

That exhaust sounds too good now. I mean, it should be illegal to ride around with an exhaust sounding that good, and nobody else having it. (The headers still sound as mean as ever.)

Congrats on a great system.
ROFL ! Correction: traded 36 inch tv for complete leather interior, which is sitting in the back room !

Well the equal length (or close to it) exhaust paths for each cylinder bank is what gives Ceasar's exhaust that tone so it's impossible to truly have that tone without the Cattman headers. Get over it...

Your car sounds awesome.

Very mean, very clean, and not ricey at all. That sounds better than 95% of import cars, period.

Yeah, you can hold off on the attitude...All i said is that you can have something pretty similar to this without having to spend the amount of money ceasar spent...

But im not knockin ya ceasar, you KNOW i love you car (and site) and i love your exhaust tone. I would easily be one of the people with headers if they werent so expensive...I would drop 450-ish on a set, just not 700...Theres only so much my college budget can handle...

damn ceaser, your max just might be the best ever on the org. Those headers and cattman exhaust sure do bring new life to your Max, also it gives your max a "euro" tone to it. excellent job!

Yes I am the proud owner of a 36" TV for my old interior, and it amazes me everyday that ceasar would trade me something like that for something that will just add more weight to his car.

Once again your exhaust sounds really nice, big improvement. Heard it in person tonight and it sounds great. A little pricey for me but I would rather it be quiet (stock muffler) than have a ricey fart can sound.

Cubanato, let us know how that frankencar cat sounds after you install it. Also, ceasar, awesome setup! Your car never ceases to amaze me. Quick question though, why did you get rid of the dynomax turbo muffler so quickly? I've heard quite a few praises of it on the org and just wondering what your thoughts are on it. Thanks.

How does it compare to having a stock catback when cruising in fifth at 70-80 mph? I love how it sounds, but I wonder if I would get tired of it after a while if it's much louder when just cruising. I'm currently happy with just my y-pipe.

Ceasar your car sounds great! I wonder what headers and a single in and duel out exaust would sound like. Maybe close to that purr you get from a 350z or a G35. sweeet!

I remember talking with Brian (Catts) about the incredible sound his header/catback system made on my car...

IIRC, he said that he tested multiple catback combinations to arrive at the best sounding combination - which is what we currently have.

I seriously doubt that piecing together a muffler, B-pipe and headers will sound anywhere near as good as this complete cattman system...

Ceasar, congrats on the system... all I can say is...

Nyah nyah, I had mine first...

how much did u pay? im going to purchase the cattman headers, catback exhaust all in one shot....can i get them cheaper than on the custommaxima website? im gonna have to get a cat converter as well because the catback exhaust only ocmes with the b pipe and the muffler, am i right here?

i dunno how to fix this **** i just wish my damn exhaust wasent so raspy sounding
