Just got dropped on Vogtland Springs!

Well I just installed my Illuminas and Vogtland springs. It gives me a 1.5 drop in front and 1.3 in back. I have the illuminas set a 3 now, and I think its kind of soft for my taste. I feel how much better the struts are than the stockers though. The drop is pretty much even, but i was hoping it would be a little lower. Maybe it needs to sttle some more. I only got them on yesterday.

Also had the double drilled, double slotted brembos put on. This is where everything got hairy. Justin at RPM in fullerton found out that my front calipers had frozen from the rust of 6 New York winters (previous owner). The back calipers are even worse. I had the fronts replaced with rebuilt pistons, and the back are toast so i have to go back and get new ones put in. They coudln't even get the pads off because they were affraid the new pads and new rotors would be really tight while driving. Even now when I drive, i can feel, and hear the back brakes on.

For those of you in the north be weary of your calipers. My old rotors had a fat lip at the top from the pads eating away at them. Pics will be on the way as soon as I get a host.
Peace

How does the car drive with the strut & spring combo? I'm getting the Illuminas. Just can't make up my mind between Vogtland, H&R's or H-Teins. Let us know how you like them.

It could be the Vogtlands causing your max to feel that way. I think H&R's and Vogtlands are pretty close to the stock ride with better handling.
