95 Motor Swap ???s

My 95 maxima is getting old, well not too old the body is in great shape and so is the tranny. But the motor has 220k miles on it and i dont want to get a new car. I just want to know what motors are a simple(no motor swap is simple, but you know what i mean) swap. If the 5th or even 6th generations fit with relitive ease that would be awesome.

read back a page or three on this forum and you'll find plenty of recent threads discussing this.

My 95 maxima also has over 200k miles. I have been spending quite a lot of money n the body of the car and i dont want to sell it. Where can i buy a good maxima engine. I dont want a 5 or 6th Gen. too much work. I just want the same engine, but with really low miles. and for how much do they go for? thanx

He just said he wants the same engine in his car... When I replaced a transmission on my corolla, I just took it to a mechanic who I was on good terms with and he found a used one for 600, and then put it in for basically free. Since you won't be doing this swap yourself(probably), I would recommend that route. If you want to do it yourself, www.car-part.com has engines.
