steering problem.....maybe

Ok I have a problem. My car pulls to the right. My first thought was that the car was out of allignment or the tires were low . Well the tires were fine and I got an allignment and it still does. Whenever I am at a stoplight and I step on the gas really hard the steering wheel pulls really hard to the right. Oh yeah the steering wheels naturally leans to the right. I was wondering if any of you had this problem or at least knew what it was and if I could fix it myself.

The pull when you leave a light is torque steer which is normal. A fstb will help with this.

it's called "torque steer", a front wheel drive malady. if you just have to "step on the gas really hard", hold the steering wheel tighter & straighter.
or you could just take off easy.

Ok thanks for easing my concern about pulling off, but what about the car pulling to the right under normal driving conditions?

It actually happens in underpowered cars too (just not as much)...flooring other peoples prizm's is fun .

As for the pull under normal driving you probably need an alignment, if that doesn't do it then your tires probably got messed up from being out of alignment. Also the FSTB really does help with torque steer.

check all of the mounts. if they're bad (weak or broken), that can allow shifting of the engine/trans assembly thus causing "pulling" to one side or the other. be sure the suspension is tight
