Apex N1 Muffler SOOOOO loud!

I picked up the N1 and had it installed to day. I is so loud, that it gives me a headache. I have no resonators, but I thought that this would be a little less loud than it is. I don't mind the high rpms, because the sound has more treble. The low rpms are bass heavy, and shake my brain.

I need to get some resonators put on soon seeing as I am going to travel across the country back to VA, and I will probably get pulled over for the noise.

heres a lil somethin i learned today, with different temperatures air density and humidity the muffler sounds very different. this morning the air was very humid and hot. its been raining since the last week and today was just unbareably hot. my muffler sounded so quiet, i was suprised and actually had to go take a look to make sure everything was ok. and jus a few mins ago i went for a drive, right after a few light showers. the air felt very thick for some reason i dont know how to explain it, and also it was very humid,, you can actually see the mist in the around the street light glow. it was also noticeably cool....well anyway my muffler sounded completely different it sounded so nice and rumbly and also my intake sounded alot different also. it was alot louder. it wasnt just me who noticed it cause when my friend got in the car he mentioned it too.

well my point is that maybe it will sound different later on. you probably heard it on a bad temperate day. also it was jus installed so let it run a few laps. i kinda wasnt impressed with my dynomax either. but after a few days it was awsome i say give it a few days man.

the reason that it sounded "Nice and Rumbly"<(i like that) is cuz the cooler the air (from the rain) is ...hince the different sound. and the hotter it is the more expanded...it''s 8th grade physics

is it really 8th grade physics? you dont seem to know it as well as you think you do...you didnt even bother explaining why hot and cold air densities change the sound of the muffler, you just said that hot is less and cold is more dense.

heres a pic of my car when i first got it. it had a 115mm apex'i muffler on it. i didnt like the sound at wot. it was very raspy and whiny. ear piercing even! although, at idle it had a nice rumble. this thing is huge! i just put a flowmaster 40 delta flow on today. so far i like it, it is still a tad raspy, but i can definitely tell a difference. much deeper. plus, i am still running my stock b-pipe. the pipe bender broke at the shop!
