Trouble taking my front rotors off

These are my original rotors, on a 97 SE with 98xxx miles, and I swear to God these things do not want to come off. Do I really have to bang the **** out of this to get it off? HELP!

...either bang the pi5s out of it or find the correct size bolts to use on the bolt holes in each rotor.

Use a rubber mallet and hit the back of them. (make sure you get the tire off first...he he)

Use the bolt holes like MrEous said. There are holes that are made for bolts to be screwed into. When you do this, the rotors come right off.

You need to find the correct size bolt. I've been in this situation before, and there was absolutely NO way they would have come off. I wish I knew the size, but I don't. The screw on my procarparts.com FSTB fit just right, though.

Good luck on the bolts. when I did mine the threds craked right out of the rotor.
I ended up using a cuple cans of PB blaster and a desent sized sledge hammer.

Needless to say I needed new rotors when I was done

i tried banging on the rotors with a regular hammer for about 5 mins. Then I brought out the sledge hammer and within 3 bangs the rotors popped right off. BUT I heard the correct way is to get clamp that pushes against the bolts and pulls the rotor off.

It's not that difficult of a job. Just use a rubber mallet like Brudaddy suggested.

A propane torch to expand them away from the hub does wonders to break corrosion bonds, too.
