Inside wood trim on dashboard
Hello all,
I am new to this forum, as a seult of recently buying a 97’ Maxima SE. I love the car, and have never owned a Nissan before. I love it so far! Although the car is in great shape, one of the interior things that are bothering me is the wood trim. Most of the factory wood trim is faded, and a few places it is completely gone. I have searched the Internet, and see plenty of wood dash kits, but unless I am missing something, these kits seem to be stick on laminate for cars that do not have wood trim at all. Is this what I should use? Simply remove the factory pieces, and paste on the new? That does not seem quite right to me, as the factory pieces seem to have a slight bevel to them at the edges.
I would appreciate if anyone could offer some help on where/how to get good replacement trim. Thanks in advance for any help, and this board looks awesome!
