Nice paint for the calipers. I painted mine red when I had the rotors replaced. Definitely makes your car standout.

I have not seen you around here, Irish, but it says you have been here since last year.
Anyway, I try to keep up with all the Crimson Blaze Maximas, because they are special to me. he he.

Put some diamond cut clears in the front, dude. It helps a lot. $40 from like custommaxima.com.

The calipers look really good.
Mine cost about that much to do.
I just used the red duplicolor high-temp paint from autozone, and the high-tem clearcoat to make them shine. See:

As you can see, the paint for the calipers I used is holding up well. I think I did this back in march. They are still great everytime I wash my car.

Keep up the good work, man.
You have a gorgeous maxima.

It depends on how you do it. Some people take the entire caliper off and do each individual part. Some just mask over what they dont want to get paint on. Me, I did the first, and it took me a few hours.

Irishmax, yeah dude dont sweat the net peons. Too bad you have to build/have a temperment for the immature ones that wouldnt have the ***** to tell you anything about your car in your face. Enjoy your modding and keep it up.

I was joking, I saw your calipers and even commented on them, now all I have is one question...

Did you get your wheels off one of those clown cars? or a Metro perhaps?

We're just joking around, don't take anything personal. Seriously, when you do get more tires think about getting a larger tire they cost less and will look better.

no, i did not get the wheels off a clown car, a metro, a civic/crx dude, or a mini. da*n. i got them of CBwheels.com. these are the tires that came with the rims. 1299 shipped, mounted, balanced. i had the rims on my 92 a while back, if u know anything about max's you know that there is room for larger wheels on 4th gens. the wheels looked OK on the 3rd gen. the wheels are 18"s, not 10"s for 16s, they are 18"x 7.5". i will get new tires when these are done. its either pay for new tires my self now, or get new tires from my parents when the time comes i actually NEED new tires. so get off my back. and YES I AM IRISH!!!!

with that said, and hopefully ended, brudaddy, i just got the max like a month ago, then i got a moderator to change my name. the whole painting time took about 4 hours for all four wheels. i only put on 2 coats of paint on them each, but there was enough in the can for probably 5 on each, so it could get alot cleaner-looking. with the kit i got from walmart( got it in the auto-dept. where the car paint was) you dont have to take the caliper off the rotor at all, it gives u tape, paint, cleaner, stir stick, and brush. just give the brakes a good cleaning and then apply the paint. not too hard. thank you to the guys who actually stuck the the content of the thread and didnt say anything about the tires/wheel gap. oh and brudaddy, nice ride man. us crimson blaze need to stick together, who else has the red?

When mine were done it took about 3 hours cause i had rust out the *** on them and had to clean that off. Took another hour or so to dry. Took about 2 coats of paint.

I am going to paint mine gloss black tomorrow, I dont want it standing out too much on my car so I am going with the color of my car. Would the high temp engine paint work on the calipers?? I cant think of any reason it wouldn't.
