Alternator
My Alternator went out today and it was a pain in the ***. I went and bought a battery because a guy told me that is what it was. I installed the battery car still cut off. I tried to take the battery back and they would not take it because I installed it. I had to buy a Alternator and i swear I should have paid someone to install it. It has been the worst thing I have had to do on my car. Let me know if you had the same problems as I did.

I just pulled mine out as well, although my problem ended up being the starter. Definately a pain in the a$$ job. Thank you autozone for your excellent diagnostic tool.....
I would do it over again though.

I took it into the local shop. It's a PITA if you do not have a hydraulic lift and an air wrench (remove the front tire, splash shield loosen the belts. I watched now that was fun. However, the starter is a fun job less than 45 minutes and while I was at it at the same time 6 minutes for the fuel filter since everything was out of the way for the starter.
