ECU Reset

First time poster. Just logged on two days ago and already am impressed by knowledge in this forum. I own a '95 SE with 60K. Had a "check engine" light come on. Follwed instructions and got a "coolant temp. sensor" indication. Reset ECU and Check Engine Light has not come back. Question is: Do error codes re-activate after reset if the problem still exists?

Also, what is an "ECTS"

Don't worry, it will come back. It's a common problem and an easy fix. Just change the sensor. Of course, you can wait until it comes back before you do, but I'm 99% sure it will. I did the same thing with my car. Reset the ECU and it came back in a few days.
