Neutral

Hey guyz, last night i was going about 45, and I by mistake popped my autotragic into neutral. Mind you this si the first time i've ever done something like this. I was wondreing if I had done anythign that would effect the transmission in anyway (popping the car into neutral from drive). I had put the car into drive while i wa sstill moving, was scared teh car woudl stlal or somethign stupid. I dont' know much about cars yet, so if this is a stupid question - my bad in advance...

Thanks

*EDIT - Btw, the car drives fine, and in case this helps i have a 1998.

Popping into neutral like that is a safety feature. Your car will be ok.
