Hey, I'm just about to start doing the red/ clears taillight mod on my 97.I've seen posts of people doing this in the oven instead of using a heat gun and it worked. I was wondering how long you put the tailight in the oven for and what temp? Thanks

 

If you're talking about what I think about, I required no heat gun at all while installing my red/clear tails. I simply pushed out the old tails evenly and they came out very nicely.

 

about 15 min......

 

I keep mine about 5 min at 200-220 degrees, pry slowly the glass and reheat for another minute if need be.

Soulfly, that is how I melted my first set of tails - kept them for over 10 min.
