Auto Trans problem

I was driving all of a sudden I couldn't accelerate. I was on a hill and the car started to roll back while in drive. Is this a torque converter problem???

check your fluid level , i know everyone says that but its true low fluid will make your transmisson slip it happened to my old car when i trained it
