I got the blues but she dosen't

just bought some blue LED 194 bulbs for my instrument cluster but when they arrived I noticed that the 194 is to big for the instrument cluster , guys at advance auto and OM's are not helping. does anyone know what type of bulb goes in the 98 instrument cluster ?

in my 95 max the 194 where a perfect match but it took me by surprise to see that it could not fit in the 98

led

if u doing the 194 bulb mod u need to dremmel out the holes for the 194 to fit there is DIY post check that out

They are not #74, they are some proprietary crap. 74s do fit though. Why do you have a 98 cluster ina 95? Custom look?

i have the same problem, at first i ordered the 74's because they looked like the right size, but they were too small. I still put them in though, but they are very dim. I then ordered the 194's and they are too frigin big, I dont know what to do

look no matter how many times it is said 95-97 have 194's...98-99 use #74's no one ever listens....you can buy #74 leds off ebay.

194 fits into 97's. 98+ uses 74's as stated.

do the led gauge mod, it's pretty hot. I get a lot of oooh's and Ahhhh's when people look at my gauges. And to think they're stock!
