McCulloch HID install question ....

It all looks pretty straight forward and not confusing, except for one thing: the kit uses two wires (black & white) and two harnesses to connect to the original Nissan 9004 harnesses, but it arrived unassembled. There are three holes, but I have only two wires. How do I rig this up?? I don't want to guess at which holes to plug and end up screwing it all up. If only it came with decent instructions...

Well I've discovered that the white wire goes to the positive and the black to the negative. Since I've got the wiring diagram, I'll start hunting for it myself. What a great thread ...

If you want, try to find the thread about 9004 -> 9007 bulbs. That will tell you which of the 3 holes you need.

Another option is to ask somebody who's made their own upgraded wire harness. I made one, but it's sitting in my desk... dont plan on installing it till winter comes around.

I've solved my problem: the white wire goes to the center hole, and the black wire goes to the hole on the right (when the center hole is sitting HIGHER than the other two). The kit works great, or half of it at least ... one of the ballasts is busted!! Thank god it's getting replaced for free. That's why lighting products and the postal system should never mix. You know they're kicking your boxes around Ace Ventura style .... bastards.

Sorry, but I don't have the time to set it up just to switch it right back. If the shipping process goes smoothly it should be set-up in about a week. And I'll need someone to host my pics . . . .
