Here is the story I got my alternator replaced about a week and a half ago. I read the last post and decided to go to the dealership to see what they could do for me.(regarding getting reimbersed)
I gave them the VIN # and they said that my car falls under the "inspection" meaning just because my VIN is in the batch that doesnt mean i get a new one.
I was so
.
Then i was like i already replaced it. They said they can't do anything about that, at the most they will take the aftermarket one out and switch it with a Nissan 1. We all know that when most parts are installed (especialy electrical) stores will not take them back.
