Oil Light Is On!!!!!!!!!

Ok When You Guys Turn The Ignition On Does The Oil Light Turn On For Like A Second The Go Away?

all lights on the gauges light up for a couple seconds on startup. it is a self test to make sure everything's working.

Yes, definitely. If it's a regular ignition, the light turns on for only a small fraction of a second. If I've just changed the oil, it seems to hang on for a couple of seconds extra.

if the oil light stays on after starting up them youmay have a problem but if the light goes away them no need to worry.

I was wondering the same thing, i never really noticed it before, so i checked my oil and it was at the right level. The light flashes for like under a second.
