is replacing ignition coils considered maintenence???
my car has over 130K miles now...and last time I did a spark plug change (last month), one of the coil packs spring/coil came out and stuck on top of the spark plug....so I went to the dealer and bought a new one...now I know resistance tests from a multimeter do not necessarily tell you if you need new coils....so my question is, at this much mileage, would replacing the rest of them be considered maintenence?....has anyone else with this many miles replaced their all their coil packs and noticed any difference in fuel economy or more importantly performance?
after all, they are expensive...so just trying to justify the expense...
they are hanshins (I have a 95' max)

No, replacing them is not really a maintenence thing. There is no reason to replace them unless they are causing problems. You will get a misfire if one goes bad, so don't worry you will know it.
