Last minute questions on my proposed exhaust setup
I am thinking of purchasing the following:
- Warpspeed Y-Pipe (price will be between $160-$200 I think)
- Warpspeed B-pipe (I beleive the price will be similar)
And that's it for my exhaust for now. I've searched thru the forums a bunch, and have come to the conclusion that if I do these mods, and keep the stock muffler, the noise will change.. it'll be a bit more "raspy". That's not a bad thing, is it? I want to have my car sound a bit nicer possibly, but I do not want to go out and purchase a new muffler so my car can sound really, really load.
Lastly, I want to make sure that putting in a new ypipe and bpipe is possible with the stock muffler? I heard somewhere it would be hard to fit into the stock muffler.
I hope I will still get all the performance gains.. my hope is to look a bit like a sleeper with the stock exhaust and still get the 20HP or so from the y & b pipes.
Someone.. please warn me if I'm doing something wrong. Any tips, suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan
