Ok, since we're on this subject......
For the life of me I can't check my oil level, my dipstick is f***ed up. If i read the dipstick 5 times i'll get 5 different answers. The car is on level ground and has been sitting a while before i check it. What gives????

drive to a shop that has air tools (such as a jiffy lube) and ask politely for them to quickly losen the bolt then hand tighten so you can do it yourself.
on all the cars Ive started doing oil on, they had previously done by shops with air tools and sometimes ive even needed to improvise breaker bars from pipe to losen the bolt; I've had one so tight I couldnt believe they didnt twist the head of the bolt off from overtightening..

"How come I get different readings?"
1. you must wipe the dipstick off
2. you must check a few times
3. you must try not to bump the sides of the dipstick sheath
This could be caused from oil getting up into that passage way. It is nothing uncommon, but just something that happens. It will especially happen (obviously) right after the car has been running, as all the oil is hotter and moving around everywhere. Just let it sit and keep checking. Eventually, you will get two readings that are the same.
**NOTE: I would suggest to check your oil after the car has been sitting for a while.....maybe even overnite. That way, you should not have to do it so many times to get an accurate reading.**

LOL hey man it was an honest question, some mechanic out there might have something built up. I have no idea. I learned. And I put the owned similie out there cause software pirates own companies hence the fact people dont have to pay for the software. It was not related to the thread @ all.
