is the max stronger with a launch off the line or from a rolling start?

 

I think off the line if you rev to like 2,000 and slip the clutch. But it also depends what speed rolling start, cause @ like 30, you can bang 2nd and roast many cars just with the torque our engine produces.

 

If you were to rev to like 3,000 or 4,000 then you're gonna get tranny hop which is horrible for your engine and tranny, and LSD @ that. Also you're gonna spin like a ***** too. I prefer 2,000 or a lil under, barely spin, and let the torque do the rest. It's always 2nd gear that you get alot of people, then especially 3rd, I can hit between 105 and 110 in 3rd, and yeah, that's just right before the rev limit.

 

launches are hard...i wonder what the turbo guys have to deal with.
