maxi's o2 sensor interchangeable with altima's ?

I have a friend who is parting out his 97 altima completely. I currently have a 99 gle with 85k and I'm throwing the silent knock and a 0420, which I believe was to be the rear bank o2. I'm going to change the o2 before the knock. My friend said that if the heated o2 sensor from his 97 altima is the same as the maxima's, he'll sell it to me for 15 bucks. is it possible they are? or am i just wishfully thinking. Thanks for the replies.

I went to http://www.buyoxygensensors.com/ to try and figure this out. First assumption is that you have a non-CA 99 max. In that case the universal o2 sensor is the same pn. That means it will fit. The bad news is that the oem part # is not the same. That means that the plug into the harness probably doesn't match. That means you need to break out the soldering gun.
