Legality Issue with Bulb colors??

im in NYC and i was wondering, all my interior lighting is blue, and im probably gonna get a blue LED, underglow kit, im trying my courtesy lights blue, fogs, blue, and sidemarkers blue, dont know if id keep it or not, but i just wanna try the look, and of course leave my HIDs the same, so all my lights will look blue, im just gonna test it out a little wit maybe gel caps or something to see what it looks like, but is this illegal in some way? what am i not allowed to change, in terms of color? can someone point me to a list of what has to be what colors?

Some states, if not all require the amber orange-ish color for corner lights on the bumper.

i believe it is only yellow or amber in the front, and in the rear your lights can be red, yellow, or amber. dont go with blue side markers, you will be like every other honda on the road. my $.02.

lol, i hate hondas, but im getting bored with the dirty looking bulbs, i tried polarg and they come out a tiny tint of blue and end up loking baby blue, its like i need HIDs for every single lamp in the front of my car for me to be satisfied....id rather not go some dirty looking amber color, if i cant go completely hyper white....i dont know....and we have the same car gto400no1, and i hate gen 2 altezzas, but those look pretty good.....u have a cardomain page or something where i can get a better look at those on a black max?

I've had countless tickets with my civic. Trust me, it isn't worth it to put in 'hypers' This is at least for the rear of the car. If you have the red/clear taillights, then just put in a regular clear bulb for turn signals. They are much brighter and they give off a true white color. As for the front, I think u can do whatever you want. I recently got white led's for all markers and clearance off ebay and just gonna put 'hyperwhites' for the front turn signal. Thats just my setup. I'm just waiting on my DC clears. Hope you dont get too many tickets.

Step 1. Get phone
Step 2. Get phonebook
Step 3. Look up number for state Department of Transportation or Department of Motor Vehicles
Step 4. Call and ask for a set of rules and regulations regarding exterior lighting requirements and restrictions for passenger vehicles.

Want to make it even easier? Go to your local police station and ASK. Explain that you want to customize your car but want to keep it legal.
