95-96 red/clears

has anyone attempted the 97-99 Diy red/clears conversion from vqpower on a 95-96 max? Is there anything different about the 95 tails and the 97 tails other than their different sizes?

yes, can't be done. 97-99 = two piece that can come out, 95/96 = single piece that can not be removed. you have to find the all clears and have them painted or find a pair of david l's already painted. no aftermarket company wants to make them for us so the price is ridiculous on the rare sets left.

Or you can buy 1st gen altezzas, take off the lenses, paint them red/white, take off the stock lights, take out the lenses and replace them with the painted altezza lenses.

Too much for the level headed person. Figure about $300 for the trunk lid and $150 for the tail lights. Not worth it IMO.
