At Home Brake Cleanup

I have this problem with squeeling brakes and as previously posted nissan said it was because of my calipers being painted.

I want to take my brakes apart more or less and try and fix my problem... can i take a wire brush to the top of my rotor to try and get some paint off? It is only about as big as a quarter, but it may help... what else would you recommend for my project?

new pads? if so, which kind?

Sand your rotor and pads surfaces with 180 grit aluminum oxide paper
